It was a fusion of products and services, regular and corporate sales, entertainment and arts for Digicel at GuyExpo 2009. Digicel got an opportunity to showcase every aspect of the company at Guyana's biggest Trade Fair and Exposition. As persons flocked the six day event in thousands, they certainly experienced Digicel's dynamic presence in the Guyana market.

 Branding was dominant; music from Digicel sponsorship assets filled the air; customers signed on to the bigger better network and the stylish BlackBerry Gemini was launched.

Digicel also sponsored one night of entertainment and it was certainly a night to remember. The highlight of the entertainment night was the launch of the BlackBerry Gemini through an exhilarating fashion display which featured elegant black and white pieces from one of Guyana’s budding fashion designers. Digicel models wowed the audience in trendy pieces which were accessorized with the fashionable BlackBerry Gemini smartphones.  

Digicel Guyana, CEO, Gregory Dean, in summing up the event said "Digicel was delighted to play a major role in GuyExpo as the Telecoms Partner as well as an exhibitor. Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce the Hon. Manniram Prashad commented that, "it was a pleasure having Digicel on board as GUYEXPO's Telecommunications Partner." In commending the wireless telecommunications company for being a corporate sponsor in this year's exposition, Minister Prashad said he "looks forward to continued partnership."
