Terms and Conditions

 

  • Promotion Ends December 25th
  • Credit U Transactions are not applicable to this promotion.
  • Prepaid customers must top up with $500 or more in a single transaction to receive a magic number and be entered in the draw.
  • Postpaid customers must pay their most recent bill in full and on time to enter.
  • Top can be done electronically or with Flex cards.
  • Winners are required to do video shoots, photo opts and public appearances pertinent to the Christmas Promotion. If a winner is not able to honor these requirements for any reason, a relative can claim prizes and take pictures, etc.on his/her behalf or the prize will be forfeited.
  • The deadline for claiming prizes is within 5 working days of the live draw each Sunday.
  • If persons fail to claim their prizes by deadline, the cash prizes will still be shared among the cash winners that claimed their prize. That means 3 Million dollars must be given away each week!

 

 

Pre- paid Customers

Top up with $500 or more and you’ll receive a seven digit “Magic Number” via text message. Tune into NCN every Sunday at 7:30pm (Linden, Georgetown and Berbice) and see if your Magic Number will be drawn. Once you have the matching magic number in your phone you are a winner of 1 of the fabulous prizes.

Post Paid Customer

When a customer pays their most recent bill preceding the show in full and on time they will  be sent a Magic number each week via SMS to enter.

  1. Would I need to purchase a special magic number flex card?

No. No special magic number card applies. Once you top up with $500 or more you’ll receive a text with your magic number.

 

  1. If I top up with a $2000 flex card will I receive 4 different magic numbers?

No. You will receive one magic number. If you’d like to increase your chances though what you can do is purchase 4 $500 flex cards and only then will you receive 4 different magic numbers.

 

6.      Does this promotion apply to both post paid and pre- paid customers?

Yes.

 

7.      What are the qualifying periods?

Saturday November 20 – Friday November 26

Saturday November 27 – Friday December 3

Saturday December 4 – Friday December 10

8.      What’s the cut off time for each qualifying period?

Friday at 11:59 pm

 

9.      If I top up one time will I be entered into the draw each week?

No you must top up during the qualifying period each week to enter.

Therefore if you top up between Nov 20 and 27 you will be in the 1st.

If you top up between Nov 28 – Dec 4 you will be in the second draw.

 

  1. How will post paid customers receive their magic numbers?

You will be sent a magic number via sms once the most recent bill is paid in full and on time.

 

  1. Will postpaid customers be entered to win the cash prizes as well?

Yes. Postpaid customers are included in the cash draw as well.

 

  1. If I pay my bill on November 27 2010 in full and on time will I be entered into the draw on the 28th?

No. Since the qualifying period is Sat – Fri you will be entered in the draw from the Dec 5.

To be included in the 1st draw you must pay your bill by November 26th.

 

  1. As a postpaid customer who qualified will I be sent a different magic number each week?

Yes you will be sent a different magic each week.

 

  1. Can I buy any Digicel Card to enter the promotion?

Any card valuing $500 or more

 

  1. Can I Top Up electronically to get a Magic Number?

Yes you can. After completing an electronic Top Up of $500 or more successfully, a magic Number will be sent to your phone. Please be advised that Magic Numbers may be sent to your phones within an hour after topping up.

 

  1. How will I know that I am qualified?

You will be notified by a text message.

 

  1. If the magic number is not automatically sent to my phone, how else can I get the Magic Number?

If you do not receive the magic number via sms then there is a problem. Call Customer Care on 100. They will trouble shoot and resolve the issue with the technical department.

 

18.   If I don’t receive the message within an hour what should I do next?

Call Customer Care on 100 from your Digicel phone, the agent will trouble shoot and escalate to the technical team to resolve.

 

  1. Can customers qualify more than once?

Yes Customers can qualify more than once.

 

20.  If I don’t get to see the draw on TV how will I know my magic number was selected?

The winning magic numbers will be published and also sent to all customers by text.

 

21.   If I deleted my Magic number by accident. Will I lose my prize?

No you will not. You can contact Customer Care by dialing 100 and they will be able to reconfirm your number.

 

  1. What exactly is the TV Show about?

It’s a live drawing where the host will select 7 lucky winners using a randomizer. Four customers will win a Blackberry Torch handset each and the last 3 will win 1 Million Dollars each.

 

23.  How do I claim my prize once I see my number?

You have 5 working days following the airing of the show on Sunday to claim your prize. This can be done by going to the Sales Office at Fort and Barrack Streets, calling the claim line on 5926011005 or sending an email to Digicelguyanasponsorship@digicelgroup.com.

 

24.  Will the show be aired only once weekly, or will there be a replay during the week?

Yes the drawing will be done Live every Sunday at 19:30hrs on NCN. It will not be rebroadcasted.

 

  1. How many winners will be drawn weekly?

7 weekly winners! (4 winning Blackberry Torch and the other 3 winning 1 Million Dollars each)

 

  1. How long do I have to claim my prize?

You must claim your prize within 1 week (5 working days) from the day of the live TV draw.

 

  1. Who would the unclaimed prizes be shared with and how?

$3M in cash is guaranteed each week will be shared with all persons who have claimed.
