Red Hot Days Terms

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE DIGICEL ‘Red Hot Days’ Promotion

  1. The ‘Red Hot Days’ promotion (“the Promotion”) is available to Digicel FLEX (Pre-paid) Customers and Digicel SELECT (Postpaid) Customers (‘Customer’).
  2. The Promotion will run initially for a period of seven weeks, beginning on Tuesday July 15, 2008 and ending on September 5, 2008. (“the Promotion period”)
  3. During the Promotion period, Customers will be able to qualify for two mini promotions being offered during the Promotion period: Free after 3 and Bonus Time.
  4. Free After 3 portion of the Promotion means that Customers will only be charged for the first 3 minutes of any 30 minute local call they make to another Digicel Customer. The remaining 27 minutes of that call will be FREE.
  5. To qualify for the Free After 3 portion of the Promotion, customers must make local calls to other Digicel Customers, for a duration of at least 30 minutes.
  6. Bonus Time portion of the Promotion means that for every minute of a chargeable call a Customer makes during the day, they will receive a free minute (“bonus time”) from Digicel to be used at night.
  7. To qualify for the bonus time portion of the Promotion, a Customer must make chargeable calls, during the day, which last at least 60 seconds or more.
  8. ‘Day’ is from 06:00am to 06:00pm; and ‘Night’ is from 11:00pm to 5:00 am.
  9. Free night credit starts at 11:00pm and ends at 05:00am.
  10. Free credit expires at 5:00am daily.
  11. Once a Customer makes a call to another Digicel customer between 11:00pm and 05:00am, free credit minutes for that day will be attributed to the Customer first, before the Customer can qualify for the Free After 3 portion of the Promotion, on that day.
  12. Calls which qualify for this promotion include calls made on-net, off-net and international.
  13. During the Promotion period, the basis upon which calls are charged, in relation to the Free After 3 portion of the Promotion, will be 30 minute segments.
  14. A Customer who makes a call which lasts longer than 30 minutes will be billed for the first 3 minutes at the beginning of the first 30 minute period and then will be billed again for the first 3 minutes at the beginning of the second 30 minute period a any call time, after the first 3 minutes in either segment, will be FREE.
  15. Post paid Customers must utilise all of their allocated bundled minutes to qualify for the promotion.
  16. Only local on- net calls qualify for this promotion (FA3).
  17. To qualify for the Promotion, customers must make these calls in Guyana.
  18. The Promotion does not apply whilst roaming.
  19. Digicel reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Promotion, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw the Promotion. In any of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
