Red Hot Scooters Terms

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE DIGICEL ‘Red Hot Scooters’ Promotion

  1. The ‘Red Hot Scooters’ promotion (“the Promotion”) is available to all Digicel Customers (‘Customer’)  
  2. Each Customer gets a chance to win 1 0f 10 free Red Hot Scooter during the promotion period.
  3. To qualify for the Promotion, a Customer must text the word “scooter” to 1444 or call 1444, to get a chance to win one of the 10 Red Hot Scooters.
  4. To qualify for the Promotion, postpaid Customers must pay their bill, on time and in full. 
  5. Prepaid Customers must meet the requirement of that week’s offer, to qualify for the Promotion. 
  6. Each text or call costs $5 which will allow you to listen / read about the promotion of the week.
  7. The Promotion will run for an initial period of approximately seven (7) weeks from Tuesday, July 15 2008 until Friday, September 5 2008 (“the Promotion period”).
  8. There will be prize draws every Friday during the Promotion period. 
  9. All entries will go into a draw each week, during the Promotion period.
  10. One (1) winner will be randomly selected each week from each draw. 
  11. Winners will be advised by Digicel that they are the winners of the weekly draw.  Digicel will contact the winners by telephone; and Digicel will use the number corresponding to the cell phone from which the text was sent as the means of contacting the winner.   
  12. If Digicel is unable to contact the customer within 24 hours of the draw, another draw will be done, before the following weekly Friday draw, to select another winner.
  13. Customer can collect his prize at Digicel’s Head offices – (address of Digicel Guyana) – by (a time) on (a particular date).
  14. Calls which qualify for this promotion will be dependent on the offer for that week
  15. Customers must make those calls whilst in Guyana. 
  16. The Promotion does not apply whilst roaming. 
  17. Our employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies, advertising, promotion and public relations agencies, dealers, distributors, or anyone else connected with this promotion and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible for entry. For these purposes immediate family members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.
  18. Minors are NOT eligible for this promo.
  19. Digicel reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Promotion, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw the Promotion. In any of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
